When you found The Truth Unblemished,
Did you tremble, sir, with fear?
Did you find Him in a manger
On that foretold midnight clear?
When you found The Truth Unblemished,
Could you hear the angels sing?
Were the wise men fast approaching?
Did you bow before The King?
When you found The Truth Unblemished,
Were you then on Holy Ground?
Was the Lamb of God before you?
Did the Word in you resound?
When you found The Truth Unblemished,
Did your heart and mind rejoice?
Was amazing Grace apparent?
Could you hear Isaiah’s voice?1
When you found The Truth Unblemished,
Did you recognize the cost2?
Did you grasp the implication
Of this Lamb upon the cross?
When you found The Truth Unblemished,
Was it clear what was to be?
Did you mourn the curse within us
When we nailed Him to the tree3?

Did the Spirit in you start?
When you heard the Son’s proposal?
Was your “Yes, Lord!” from the heart?
When you found The Truth Unblemished,
Did you die with Him, my friend?
When He called you, were you taken?
Did He raise you born again4?
