I Wish We Could Wash The Blood Off
"Dread not infanticide, the crime is imaginary: we are always mistress of what we carry in the womb, and we do no more harm in destroying this kind of matter than in evacuating another, by medicines, when we feel the need."
—Marquis de Sade
As I write this (May, 2013), abortion “doctor”, Kermit Gosnell, is being tried in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for the crime of killing babies outside of the womb. The trial has revealed a stark and ugly reality, a reality that we as a society are loathe to confront and/or admit. To a large degree, the trial has been declared “off limits” by the MSM. Out of sight, out of mind. The Sacred Rite of abortion, it would seem, must be carefully preserved.
But, thankfully, the story has not been buried completely, and the graphic nature of the trial and the horrendous nature of the evidence presented has helped to strip away the false façade of “decency” from the practice of what has been called…(ahem)… “legal” late term abortion and exposed it for what it really is: cold-blooded child mutilation.
In essence, we as a society have signed off on… and, apparently, approved… the practice of infanticide and have (perversely) called it a “human right”.
“Stephen Massof [medical assistant under Kermit Gosnell] described how he snipped the spinal cords of babies, calling it, ‘literally a beheading. It is separating the brain from the body.’ He testified that at times, when women were given medicine to speed up their deliveries, ‘it would rain fetuses. Fetuses and blood all over the place.’ “

“What shall I do, then, with Jesus who is called the Messiah?” Pilate asked.
They all answered, “Crucify him!”
“Why? What crime has he committed?” asked Pilate.
But they shouted all the louder, “Crucify him!”
When Pilate saw that he was getting nowhere, but that instead an uproar was starting, he took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd. “I am innocent of this man’s blood,” he said. “It is your responsibility!”

I Wish We Could Wash The Blood Off
(Or Just Wish it All Away!)
Dr. Gosnell’s been uncovered,
Now the bloody curtain’s drawn….
Innocents were mutilated,
Precious lives now dead and gone.
But, the culprit’s now discovered…
Yes, the guilty’s been exposed!
Take a look, folks, in the mirror,
Could it be!?....Do you suppose!?
There’s no point in looking further,
Just reflect on it awhile.
Listen closely…(Satan chuckles)…
Look intently….(Satan smiles)1.
No, it’s not a pretty picture…
And you may think it’s unfair!
But…oh well… It’s what we’re left with,
In this Kingdom of the Air. 2
Boy, I wish I had the answer…
Wish we all could be excused!
But the fact is….We’re all guilty,
Friend, I wish I had “good news”3!
I wish we could wash the blood off4…
Or just wish it all away!
Maybe God will show us Mercy5,
When it comes to Judgment Day….
Do you think that that could happen?!
Could that really ever be!?
If God’s just,… how could He do it6?
No, my friend,…. I just don’t see…
