We've got Drive-thru-Liposuction,
We've got Tummy-Tucks-To-Please...
We've got starving fashion models
Who augment our gluttonies.
We've got clean Abort-O-Clinics
Tiny tots tossed in the bin...
Fifty-million now and counting.
(We've got no concept of Sin.)
We've no patience for intol'rance!
And no time for Bible class;
(All you backward Bible-Thumpers
Can just kiss our tissue mass!)
We've got churches who've got preachers
Tippy-toeing 'round The Cross.
We've got whole denominations
Who’ve forgotten God's The Boss.
We've got bleating hearts in darkness,
Singing “Love is all you need!”
We’re enamored by the sweet talk,
While despising Romans Three.
We know somewhere that it's written,
That like sheep we've gone astray...
That there's no one good or righteous…,
But deny it anyway.
Lord, we've got this need for Truth now...
And deep down we know it well.
Help us know without Your Mercy,
We've a Snowball's Chance in Hell...
Now…thank God….there's Revelation!
And true Righteousness we see!
