Scripture begins and ends (in the Books of Genesis and Revelation) with references to the Tree of Life. Like “Bookend Sentinels” this reference invites inquiry and contemplation, meditation and even, perhaps, our prayers.
Lord, your creation constantly speaks of your glory and your majesty, though we so often simply do not see. Please help us with this blindness....Remind us of what You have done (and what You are doing) in and through creation and in our lives as You call to us and draw us to yourself. Father, place your seed within us......
